Ten Reasons Why I No Longer Post on FaceBook

Ten Reasons Why I No Longer Post on FaceBook

1. The “a, h, s, o, e, and l” keys on my magic keyboard stick.

2. People do not want to have their views challenged; they only want them validated. Better to challenge those views in a bar.

3. FaceBook brings out the worst in people, including me.

4. I do not need to pat myself on the back by showing all the "wonderful" things I say, do, and know.

5. I am sick of ads and clickbait.

6. I do not want to hate my friends because they are misguided, or worse, insane.

7. I don't care.

8. I found myself looking for "likes" and favorable comments to my posts. I wasn't adding anything, just hoping for validation.

9. I really do not understand the protocol of the "like" versus "love."

10. It's cool not to like FaceBook.
